Ideas to Make Pack-Opening Even More Fun!
Hello everyone! While playing TCG Card Shop Simulator, I came up with a few ideas that could make the game even more fun and engaging.

First off, I'd love to see more employee types with specialized roles. For example, imagine having employees dedicated to opening card packs. If you have, say, four employees opening packs simultaneously, you could leave them to it and then return to see the highlights of their pulls. This would allow you to sell any high-value cards immediately and have a strategy for the less valuable ones. The cards that aren't worth as much could be automatically collected by another employee into a "bulk 100-card pack" for quick, profitable sales. This setup would create a satisfying little workflow where one employee focuses on opening packs, while another organizes the bulk, providing a fun and efficient way to manage your inventory.

Another idea I had is that customers could come into the shop to sell their own cards. This would add a bargaining element where you could negotiate with customers, deciding whether to buy their cards or not. If you make the purchase, you could then turn around and try to sell those cards in your shop for a profit. This would add an extra layer of interaction and strategy to the game, making the shop feel even more alive.

Overall, these tweaks would make the gameplay loop feel more dynamic and give players more to look forward to with each pack and interaction!

If you look at the roadmap you'll notice that its planned for customers to want to sell their own cards.

Though answering your first idea, while nice on paper. Would (in my humble opinion) kindof take away from part of what makes this game pop compared to other store sim games. The only reason i grew interested in this game was the opening packs myself and selling them, owning a store my little geeky brain gets to giggle for every time i get a full art foil or perhaps a ghost card.

Im not trying to devalue your idea, as it seems to be meant to be a choice wether you want your employees to do so. Though i 100% agree with the 100 card bulk boxes needing automation.

Hey, yeah didnt see that they already had that planned in the road map :D.

True it will take the fun away in getting to open the pack's your self it does give u another way of making a good amount of money. They could make it a little bit more end-game related. Because then you probably already have most of the cards unlocked/seen anyway so then you wont be bothered in letting them open the packs. It's just an idea that came up on my mind while playing, because i cant keep up the card table. everytime ii try opening packs, half of the card table has already been sold already, that with 20% profit :D. Maybe they can also add like add a way that employees can add cards onto the card table with a certain % profit.

and maybe a good thing if the employees could finish their job before going home (now just leaves the package he was working on the ground and leaves) :D

I agree.

I think opening packs and being a cashier are both a lot of fun, but the difference is that opening packs is too lacking in interaction.

Being a cashier can see which items are hot today and order them immediately, and observe the traffic flow of customers and workers, but opening packs can't. In order to experience the daily life of a card shop owner, I don't open packs during shop hours, which could cut my fun in half.

But it's very time-consuming to collect enough expensive cards to sell before opening shop every day (I mean not less than the average sales of other items), I'm glad to let the inefficient workers share this work.

For employees opening packs.

Imo they should be able to open packs for u EXEPT only for u to keep stock of singles to sell in ur store. Rather than help completing the personal collection

Imo completing the personal collection should be us the player doing it
