Just some ideas
been enjoying playtest. Hit the content wall of nothing more to progress so thought i would throw out some thoughts on expansion.

- Tables
I've found placing single tables to be kinda awkward in making a functional floorplan. I can only effectively put 3 in the back of the shop along with a couple storage racks, and it's a snug fit. I'm wondering if it would be possible to make a mildly larger table that seats 4 as a potential upgrade path in such a way that opens space while allowing more players still. I think this was already on your to-do list, but wanted to voice an idea regardless.

- Air Freshener
Stinky people make sense in a hobby store, but I think there are a couple of creative ways to deal with this rather than just having us spray people (which would be kinda funny if they would get offended sometimes). Potential upgrades would be air purifiers that could be placed on shelves or endcaps with a specified radius of effectiveness. A potential endgame upgrade could be an overhead ac unit that gets installed over the front door, like those that are meant to keep bugs out. Technically doesn't help people smell better but who's asking.

- Events
When I saw this option I genuinely thought it would be a mechanic to host a tournament. The option to influence prices is a cool idea for sure, but having in game npc tournaments seems a little more appealing to me. I've had a card worth 2K sitting on my store with absolutely no one trying to purchase after 30 days. I wonder if there would be a mechanic where we could potentially put cards like this as tournament prizes or have actual prize pools from our profits (obviously this will be harder as a rent mechanic is introduced). Having this option with npc's playing some sort of entry fee could help us make some money off these cards that simply will not sell as we move this inventory. Higher value prize = higher entry fee within reason. Having some sort of advertisement in front windows would be a nice touch to generate synthetic hype and such making the storefront less bare.

- fodder box/packs
I'd imagine all our pockets get filled up with cards worth 50 cents or less. These things are basically not even worth putting up for display to sell. An alternative that irl shops do is having just giant rows of boxes of these less valuable cards and just charge a dime each so they move the inventory. Some even have some random that they package together of a set of 20 cards for like $2-$3 that are great for kids who aren't chasing valuable cards and just like the pictures and such. If there was a way to just select a value of card and have it just be auto filled into the box or packs from out pockets would be a great way to make use of this dead inventory. For example if we were to set the value of everything 25 cents or 50 cents in our pockets to just go into the pool would be a huge time saver.

- God pack
It would be pretty dope if there was a god pack mechanic like some irl tcg's. LIke if a pack had all "full art" or "high value" cards in a single pack. This would be a pretty cool steam achievement too. Like even if it's just a .2% chance of pulling it's one more reason to keep pulling cards.

- Card rarities
This is probably just a me issue but i have no idea what's more rare than another. I know it's possible to check the "tcg value" but i think it would be great if the cards themselves have a small icon in a corner to let us know such as a circle being common, triangles uncommon, squares for rares, stars for super, etc. with "full arts" obviously having none.

- other cards/items
You've already mentioned other card types in patch notes I think, but wanted to give some examples anyways. Would be awesome if there were "anime" or "sports" cards. I think it would be hilarious for there to be like parodies of sport teams or animes, with puns for names or just random generated monikers. This would be a tremendous amount of work but just something to keep in the back of the mind to just add some variety. Also, blind bags/boxes are kinda a staple of hobby stores now so having some of keychains or mini figurines would be cool. I don't think it's too necessary to actual model any of them unless we're gonna display them, but just having diversity would be cool.

Appreciate the chance to playtest and genuinely excited to see more. Thanks!
