When Steam first recommended this game to me, I thought it was genuinely too good to be true: a yuri vn with an appealing art style and good looking women? Properly complicated characters who do bad things in bad routes? A beautiful business woman who might be mean to me? Sign me up! Imagine how surprised I was when I played through Victoria's good route and found out, no, she wasn't going to be mean to me, instead I was romancing a sad dog who really needs a hug and to be reminded she's more than her work. And then I did her bad ending and had to take a walk around my house.

Love Curse: Find Your Soulmate doesn't play around with the idea of a bad end, either. Two of them made me feel properly sad, and two of them were INTENSE. At no point did I regret going through the bad ends, though. All routes were enjoyable for their own reasons, and you truly don't feel like you wasted your time with any of them. There's a reason why I couldn't bring myself to do anything except read the other routes for the past three days, after all.

The art is, of course, stellar, and the writing doesn't disappoint either. My main gripe is that some scenes felt a bit... Short? Empty? Lacking in something. Some kisses didn't have a CG when they really deserved one, one character who really needed a model didn't get one, and one route in particular felt like it suffered from not having any voice acting, but the plot itself is fantastic--and, when you remember this is an indie company making this game, only having 4 voices (who are STELLAR, might I add) makes a lot more sense. These annoyances are small, ultimately, and just a matter of personal preference-- I was hooked from start to end not just on each character's individual romance, but on the overarching conflict as well. The true end is a fantastic time, and a real reward for all your time spent playing.

I sincerely hope that this overwhelmingly positive feedback encourages the developers to make another game, be it a sequel to this or a new one entirely. This was a FANTASTIC experience, through and through. This team, whoever they are, have created an experience that I (and clearly, many others) have been longing for. It's well worth the money--in fact, it'd be worth far more. I'd easily pay $15, or even $20, in retrospect. Let it be known, if they release a DLC, I am buying it without any hesitation, no matter the price.

Final thoughts: not enough eleanor love oh my gosh she's actually so perfect. she's everything. handsome woman? she seems so cool and distant but she only has eyes for you??? we need to step up our game everybody. i love victoria so much but eleanor needs more love too.

Praying this game sells gazillion copies so we can get more routes cofRosaliecof, maybe even Love Curse 2: electric boogaloo.

Came here for beautiful artstyle and yuri, stayed for complex character writing and multi-faceted story under the guise of a dating simulator.

When i immediately liked the first route i took, i was afraid that i accidentally chose 'the best one'. That i won't enjoy others as much. God, i was so wrong! Each story found a way to surprise me and even the characters i wasn't interested in at first have been beautifully fleshed out throughout their routes. One thing that really impressed me is the way bad endings were handled - they were not short nor stereotypical at all. No 'oops! you missed too many right answers so your lover dies!' shenanigans. The writers were not afraid to show both love interests and the MC doing bad things, making wrong choices - often staying together through it all, leaving you with bitterness, anger, even disgust. It added to the sense of realism that many games of the genre lack - and made the good endings even more satisfying.

In the end, all the routes tied beautifully together. I truly recommend to 100% this game, even if you are not an achievement hunter. This game is a feast for your eyes, ears, mind and soul. ALSO THERE ARE NO MEN. not even as NPCs?? Yeeey!
