Why did they launch the game on Steam after so many years? Is there any official communication from them? Are they planning to launch other games?

I think they just decide to release the game on steam, and will continue to work on their solo projects (Twofold, by the writer of the Lilly route, was already on Steam). I mean, even in this game, pretty much every route was a solo project, having different writers and what not, and I think the main guy of the project died some years ago... :-/

Its been years and the likeness of the studio coming back is very unlikely. If they wanted to make a sequel they'd make one years ago.

Didn't know about the Lilly writer having their own game, may have to check that out, thanks.

The fact the game exists period is a miracle in and of itself if you know the dev lore, I'm just assuming it's because of Snoot and Wani they decided to host the game on other platforms.

No, the writers have all gone their separate ways, FLS will, sadly, never make another title. Since release its been very lightly managed by a few members with language releases, it also appeared at a few conventions a long time ago. thankfully we can still observe some of what the writers are working on now
