I've got the Avast free antivirus on mine, which replaces the Windows 7 firewall with its own. Plays fine for me. Not specifically recommending Avast, though I've had decent luck with it; pretty much every real antivirus, even the free ones, includes a firewall that serves the same purpose.

Just allow the game thru your firewall. Simple. Then you won't have to turn it off to play.

Just google "How to allow a game through Firewall" there's a bunch of vids. All done through Control Panel. I never had to do a thing with this in win 7 or 10

right,I don't know why I didn't think of that,that's usually the first place I go to,this is the first time I've had this problem...
