Bungie doesn't know what they want to make. Look at that video, is that really the vision of what Bungie thought Marathon should be? Then why is Marathon a first person generic feeling PVP extraction game.

Why not let the game world be persistent; always up, with the changes coming in whether events, enemies and players? The game brings absolutely nothing new to the extraction genre.

But it has this grandiose imagery in their cinematic. Streamer Glaze and marketing hype is going to sell this game. Joe Cross did his job.
