What are your pc stats and what FPS exactly did you have? Performance is still wip ofc and always being improved.
The demo does have music, but maybe you did not turn the music volume up enough, or had music muted, in the settings? SFX are pretty wip/placeholder though. Voice lines later will be nice, not being worked on currently but it's a todo.
Unit cards do show state like firing/under fire, charging/in melee/pursuing, routed or dispersed, cohesion level, veterancy, if general, if in concealment etc...which info for you was missing? Winning/losing info is too lengthy to put on the card but is available if you click a unit and hover its opponent with the cursor. A panel behind unit cards could work but it's kind of a stylistic choice to have them on their own.
The courier system is a core design aspect that distinguishes it from other games, but does require some adjustment.
The demo does not include large size armies, or reenactments which are even larger than large size armies, and the final game will have dozens of maps. There is a UI scalar in the in-battle settings as well.
Thanks again!
this is on the todo list
Overall the demo did grab my attention, this is a game I have my eyes on for sure and I'm guilty of peddling it a bit in my regional wargaming group ahah.
thanks for the feedback. If I may ask, what are all of your pc stats? What fps did you get?
HyperX Fury DDR4 RAM 16GB
Icore I7-10700 2.90 Ghz 8-core
Main board on 500 GB Solid C drive
Backup drive 1 TB Hard D drive
I stay locked at 60 FPS. I did set menu option to 60 FPS as well, so maybe that interfered with my Pc settings and I may have been getting much higher. Also I installed the game on my HDD, I'll try it on my solid see if it does the same.
thanks! let me know if there are some settings either in game or in nvidia that change the temp the game runs at for you.
also, what resolution are you using?
I reinstalled on SSD and turned the settings down. AA at 2x, pp and dust off, small unit sizes, no grass. Still runs my gpu hot unfortunately :(
did you turn vsync off?
haha ok great, it was just responsible for someone else's heating issues.
and, to clarify, the performance is fine for you? locked at 60fps? it's just that it runs hot?
thanks!
