Thanks, so I see you cannot actually buy or own it outside of that mission. Also nothing about Land Rover, Toyota etc... I got vehicles manuals for them but not purchasable in the game?

You can get it as a reward for the mission if you convince him to forgive his henchman.

I got the URAL instead the Unimog, which is better (Armored, Antifreeze and 1500kg payload).

I actually can get both the Unimog AND the Armored Ural. The thing is when the 1st Convoy is near Cali-Cantinos, get to Cali-Cantinos first right before the Convoy enter it. While in the City simply Leave Car to leave the Unimog in the City, do not attempt to talk to Wili Krauff because it will fail the mission, immediately just go back to the World Map and advance the time so that the Convoy can reach Cali-Cantinos. After that just reenter the City and speak to Wili. He will then give you the Armored Ural, AND you will still have the Unimog where you leave it in the city.

Mad props, never thought of this. After I complete the mission, it just says that it's in the jungle, when you check your car keys. But it's not actually in a sector, so it's pretty much gone.

I noticed recently that there seems to be a change/problem; I can't "Leave" the Unimog.

So I found a workaround; when you first get it, simply trade the Unimog for another car parked in Puerto Viejo; i.e. the Ford or Jeep or whatever. That'll take care of the no-leave-option issue.

Ah yes, i forgot, you have to do this first to be able to Leave the Unimog later, as the options are locked in the beginning.

Sadly currently this trick does not work anymore. No leave the car for the unimog.

This trick does work as of 5/12/2021, just keep in mind whatever vehicle you use will be sacrificed.
