Can't access corners of the map

I can't get the pyramid in the top right of the map because the menu button is covering it. Same problem with the bottom left, I can't see or click on anything because the character info is blocking me from doing anything on the entire island. I have tried switching on and off full screen mode. But I can't get around it.

Oh i figured it out- you have to lower the resolution to where it is no longer wide screen, I think it was 3 down.
