Good question. I had wondered about that and I ALSO hope that they do the predownload thingie. I work overnights so it would cool if that was offered.

Yakuza games usually have no preloads and unlock at 3 pm UTC
(Though I don't know for sure if the same will apply here)

the previous gaiden did have a pre-load like a day or two before release so we'll see i guess.

Luckily steam always provide a fast download (if you have a good enough connection)...

But I can understand the need of a preload for who doesn't have fast connection or is particularly impatient 😁

Gaiden and Infinite Wealth both had preloads available at least 2 days before, not sure about before that.
