I was sceptic as well but for other reasons... Like denuvo that I don't know if denuvo and deck can tag along together

probably not. Infinite Wealth was already giving decks a very hard time once you got to Hawaii, and since there will be a larger number of enemies present in this title i seriously don't think it's going to run above 20fps at best.

Agreed

It's going to lag something fierce. Wbtw, it would be bad enough with a 1 vs 1/2/3.........but 1 vs 30 or 40? That sounds like a headache of nightmare proportions. "You" might have to set aside a whole afternoon to have 3 battles.

I have no idea what you're talking about. 100 hours with infinite wealth, all of them on Steam Deck, and I can recall zero issues, including slow downs. I imagine Pirate Yakuza will run just as well.

My doubt isn't about FPS or deck not having enough power....
it's because of Denuvo

I've checked and Infinite Wealth has denuvo as well...
so suppose that despite Denuvo being not well considered by game community, it's still friendly enough to linux and deck

Denuvo runs on the Steam Deck, all Yakuza games since Yakuza: Like A Dragon/7 have had Denuvo.

i wish i could filter out every person that complains about denuvo

steam forums would be a much better place
All Denuvo does for Deck users is require server check ins on startup at random times on top of the potential frame drops. Still, it's stupid and shouldn't be a thing.

Infinite Wealth ran fine on the Steam Deck, fwiw. Drained the battery when not plugged in but otherwise didn’t have issues.

The game is also coming to old generation consoles so there is a good chance it will run the game

I played IW pretty much completely on deck and got consistent 60 fps and higher so idk what you’re talking about.
idk why some people saying infinite wealth had steam deck issues.. player perfectly well for me.. didnt change any setting at all, straight out of the box just hit start. so if it plays like infinite wealth, then this game is 100% playable on steam deck
It is also releasing on ps4, so that should mean that it will run at 30fps on low settings.

But it didn't run 4K 120fps, which is the minimum for a game to be considered "playable"!
