he is saying he is Not gay (doesn't want to play as the male character) and wants to play as a female
player character is Majima so OP can walk the plank
Tbh, it always kinda bothered me how RGG treated "age" in their games. If I recall, Kiryu was getting called "old man" or stuff like that by random punks even in Kiwami 2. It's like "chill, man, he's only 30 and you're like the same age".
Then when Kiryu was in 4,5,6 he was still getting called "old" but I was like, "well, ok, Kiryu is in his 40's so that makes sense to a some 20 year old punk.........but have you seen this man? He looks immaculate."
So, Y8 rolls around and Kiryu actually at least looks at least 15 years past the time he should be ID'ed for alcohol. So that was an improvement.
However, this game comes out and Goro looks like he found the fountain of youth and a make up kit. It's kinda hard seeing a 60 year old man look this young and "pretty".
And the previous comment on the other side of the coin.
Majima is 24 in Yakuza 0
Uuuuuh, that's not arguing against my point. He looks younger in this game then he does in earlier games.
There is something to be said that people age differently based on lifestyle.
And most Yakuza protagonists have a REALLY active lifestyle with a metric ton of daily exercise.
They even have that minigame in Yakuza 6 where Kiryu can hit the gym over and over again to buff up.
Not saying there isn't something to what you're saying that maybe the characters don't always look quite as old as they should but...there are some pretty tried and true ways to delaying aging and not looking as old as you are. Lots and lots of exercise tends to be pretty high up among them.
I remember my first introduction to the series with Yakuza 0 when Daisake Kuze takes his shirt off for the first time and I'm like, "whoa...dude...that old man is RIPPED! I thought I was going to feel guilty for ruckusing an old man but he looks like he could bench press a small car!"
It isn't just the Yakuza protagonists that always look younger than they actually are.
