Crashed after the final fight, are you serious?

Game crashed right after the final boss fight of the game. I have to re-do NOT just the boss fight again, but the entire gauntlet leading up to it. A hour of my time, gone. And there's no auto save during any of it. Come on man!

damn that's a ♥♥♥♥♥ in a half. reminds me of the time when i played of the end/dead souls, where the game crashed on the last qte and had to redo the previous boss while having to sit through the unskippable cut scenes.

Same just happened to me. The last gauntlet consist of a lot of fights, so with the current state of the game chances are very high it will ♥♥♥♥ the bed before the end. They should at least enable checkpoints or auto saves... no Yakuza game before this one was ever this unstable. This is a very hard game to finish, not because of difficulty, but due to crashes, sometimes taking my entire pc down to the bottom of the see through blue screen of death. I will try again and hopefully it works but I will shelf the game afterwards and maybe finish all the black flags and coloseum ♥♥♥♥ few months down the line once they patch the game ; - /

edit: another crash, now on my third attempt to go through queen ship fight. One more and I will just watch the rest on youtube and I'm done. Had fun for those 40 hours but this is too much.

I figured that the safest course of action was to skip all the cut-scenes and credits until one gets to the option to create the Premium Adventure save, and watch the cut-scenes on Youtube.

update, it finally worked and I managed to finish the game. I then decided to finish some pirate stuff to try and see how premium adventure works in this game, cleared one island and of course crashed during the next ship battle. Thank god, I think I'm done - good game, but I'm back to play the game I put on hold because Pirate Yakuza released - Yakuza 6. I feel like spending more time with Kiryu again, especially now after seeing the ending of this one.

Update on my end: After finishing the game, went to clear up other challenges, cleared through the arcade game 'Ocean Hunter', got through all 7 levels...exit the arcade game....actual main game crashed. I lost the credit for the game clear.

This is nuts.
