For those interested in Daytona USA 2 and other arcade ports...
Some people buy this games only to play the rare oficial ports of Sega's Arcade games.

So for those that bought this one as a way to play Daytona USA 2 and other Sega Model 3 ports:

it takes roughly two hours to unlock the arcades in the game IF you skip all the cutscenes, just so you know.

i think there's a way to extract the roms but i don't remember how
It would be more useful if we could extract the emulator, not just the ROM. But that's not possible without a serious effort of reverse engineering.

Or just play local multiplayer at the title screen from the get-go.

I don't think even Gaiden had multiplayer support so this is actually great, it makes me wish they released these arcades as a part of a collection of some sort.

The local multiplayer, as the name implies, can only be played as multiplayer, unless I misunderstood something. I tried to play it with just Player 1, and it doesn’t work.

SEGA releasing these arcade games inside Yakuza games is strange to me, as I would rather have the standalone versions, maybe in a compilation. But it seems SEGA doesn't like the idea much.

Their 8-Bit games too. I'd happily pay for an official compilation of Mk3/SMS/GG games, assuming it was a decent library with some variety.

Ocean hunter is a must-play. Even emulation has trouble running that game without graphics issues.

I do find it funny that something like this is a thing. It's cool they're doubling up their mini-games with rare classics.

This is the first time Ocean Hunter has been officially ported, right? I remember trying to run it on the Supermodel emulator, and it was a total mess.

FYI to all, these arcade games are not ports, they are being emulated with an inhouse emulator done by a guy at RGG. Can't remember his name. He is credited in the credits.

We know that. But it's official. Rumor says that it's the same guy that made the Sega Model 2 emulator who was hired by SEGA many years ago. He also made the first Daytona USA to Xbox 360 and PS3.
And most importantly, it works very well—unlike Supermodel emu.
