Question about support crew

So i can see that the support crew have 1, 2 and 3 stars (4 if you friend them) with mine all set to 1 stars. How do you get them lvld up to max? Might be a silly question but i have no idea on this one. Comments welcome!

Just your typical exp grind ( coliseum is the best way ) will get them more ranks.

But does that work for Goro etc? I've done all the Colosseum fights and got the special chest etc but they still remain as 1 star?

Edit: my bad they now have 2 stars after grinding for so long. Seems to take a long time :) Thanks really appreciate your response

Yeah, it just takes a long time to level them up ( ive done all coliseum myself and my support crew is still at 2 stars )

I can see now that it says +1 after a fight so yeh, can see it taking a long time lol thanks :)
