How long could I conceivably play this game before there is literally nothing to do?
How much content is ether repayable or infinite. (Side content/quests and or crafting.) And if there is none. How much content is their that is finite?

Gonna need to ether pick this or Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 for the month. And I can see how much KCD2 has in it via google, but can not find a reliable answer for this game other then it could take anywhere from 16-25 hours to beat the main story.

Which does not tell me much. As I am mostly interested in side activities and doing my own stuff in games.

If you focus solely on the main storyline it probably won't take long to beat. However, the main draw of the Yakuza games has always been the side content. There are a lot of minigames to play, items to find, people to talk to, restaurants to eat at, Karaoke to sing, quests to beat, and other things to grab your attention. At some point, most things run out until you further the main story. That's usually what I use to determine whether or not I go forward. I will do as much side content as possible, then move forward only because I have to in order to unlock more.

I'm pretty sure this game can take more time than what is stated online if you're taking the time to explore and experience everything it has to offer.

Mini games are the best content in any yakuza :suzuko1:

Easily over 100 hours.

Ah so similar to KCD2. (Except i don't know hoe they dole side content in that game, i assume similar to Skyrim where most things are open from the start.) Good to know. Its getting harder and harder to choose with this new info. lol

If you really speed-run the game and do everything id roughly guess about 50-70 hrs but im not 100% sure my self as i haven't beaten the game yet
I'm at the end of chapter 2 and have 22 hours of playtime. I still have a map full of stuff to do, have only just now started upgrading my ship, and still have a bunch of completion objectives and achievements to unlock. I could see myself playing this for easily 50+ hours. Sometimes I just run around finding combat encounters and collecting stuff, cooking, and playing unnecessary mini games. If you are the kind of gamer that just enjoys a game for what it is, and values the journey over the destination, you will get more bang for your buck out of this games than the majority of AAA games coming out these days.
I also bought Kingdom Come 2 as well this month. That is also a very fun game and I have sunk about 88 hours into it. I still have a lot of that game to play through as well. They are both very fun games with a ton of stuff to do and they are both worth the money. At this point it just comes down to which experience you want more. A Yakuza brawler with a crazy story and setting, or an immersive medieval RPG simulation.

Whatever i don't get this month will probably be gotten next. :L

Alternatively i could get something cheaper, and have more money to work with for stuff I actually need. While saving these games for later. So many choices. lol
