it helps to understand how heat actions are triggered, however i agree, it doesn't stay long enough.
I don't think the series is generally known for difficulty. It's somewhat in the medium. Only a handful of the amons (endgame bosses) even are hard.
Using the Instruments? They're rather good for crowd control.
The one Devil Flag naval battle that I found a bit touchy was the Main Fleet one right at the end of their last zone since one of their active abilities lets them just ignore guarded and defense, so your crew might suddenly be dropping like flies.
There is some side stuff that is definitely not. If you want to get S rank, for example, on some of the Coliseum items it can be quite a challenge to do with the time allotted on Professional.
Except...
Pool. Pool is SO incredibly hard to win on hard and it's basically impossible on legend. It's the only mini game that I abandoned loool.
Speaking of this, I want to applaud the everloving heck out of RGG's decision to not require 100% completion on every single minigame in the entire game to get all achievements this time around.
In the past it has been pretty mind numbing for completionists (guilty) to have to play every single side activity that you don't like in order to do this.
Never again will I be forced to play all of the old Sega arcade games like freaking Bass Fishing.
If I remember well some of the Yakuza games have limited items in your inventory, like you can only have 5 Staminan Spark or other healing drinks, those games are hard on legendary, other games you can have like 10 or 99 items and yeah even on legendary it's easy because you can heal everytime. Yakuza 1,2,3 had limited inventory.
