it is way too easy, there is a mod that increases bosses HP tho

Only thing I struggle with is understanding how to get the Heat Gauge skill (Y button) icon to appear on screen consistently. Feel like it appears for a tenth of second and goes away giving me no chance to it.
it's too easy, but the Final Naval battle vs Queen Michelle is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ taint on Professional.

it helps to understand how heat actions are triggered, however i agree, it doesn't stay long enough.

I did up until about 5 minutes ago when I went to fight the RANK 3 devil flags at the top right of the Hawaii map. every single crew member had grenades they kept tossing at themselves and then when you hit them they would also blow up, wiping my entire crew in less than 1 minute. I already beat a RANK 5 devil crew. I have no idea how you're supposed to beat that.

RGG studio toned down the difficulty.
Eh, If I recall 0 and Kiwami are also really easy on legendary, and I know I full cleared Yakuza 0 on Legendary.

I don't think the series is generally known for difficulty. It's somewhat in the medium. Only a handful of the amons (endgame bosses) even are hard.

Y3 is the only challenging game and the Y4 early section with Saejima is pretty ridiculous.

Using the Instruments? They're rather good for crowd control.

The one Devil Flag naval battle that I found a bit touchy was the Main Fleet one right at the end of their last zone since one of their active abilities lets them just ignore guarded and defense, so your crew might suddenly be dropping like flies.

I didn't find 3 hard at all, just horribly tedious. All of my game overs were from the chase sequences. Enemies constantly blocked so i used tasers to defeat them and it's honestly the most efficient way of beating them. I beat the game on Hard mode. And yeah ♥♥♥♥ Saejima's part in 4 (enhanced grab is mandatory) and the final boss on Hard.

Absolutely on the main stuff. The game is a cakewalk on even the hardest difficulty setting.

There is some side stuff that is definitely not. If you want to get S rank, for example, on some of the Coliseum items it can be quite a challenge to do with the time allotted on Professional.
Yeah it's easy. It could be a bit harder but I wouldn't want it to be Dark Souls hard either.

Except...

Pool. Pool is SO incredibly hard to win on hard and it's basically impossible on legend. It's the only mini game that I abandoned loool.

Speaking of this, I want to applaud the everloving heck out of RGG's decision to not require 100% completion on every single minigame in the entire game to get all achievements this time around.

In the past it has been pretty mind numbing for completionists (guilty) to have to play every single side activity that you don't like in order to do this.

Never again will I be forced to play all of the old Sega arcade games like freaking Bass Fishing.

If I remember well some of the Yakuza games have limited items in your inventory, like you can only have 5 Staminan Spark or other healing drinks, those games are hard on legendary, other games you can have like 10 or 99 items and yeah even on legendary it's easy because you can heal everytime. Yakuza 1,2,3 had limited inventory.

They fixed the ctrls compares to 345 remasters but ramped up the cpu diffuculty. I got spanked on normal after getting 4 balls in, they ran the entire table in a single turn. I guess you just have to do the same. Get out your ruler or piece of paper to line up shots. Not that beating the diff levels is required for completion list as its all points based

Bass fishing was pretty fun though, i like when they make achievements for the completion list hard. Some of them are terrible though. The worst so far has been the dragon kart grind in 7, snowball fight in 5 (u have to cheese it), cat fights in 0. The sheer amount of mahjong in judgment 1 was pretty awful. Im sure there are others. I wish they would add in better conditions for the arcade games and master system games.
