Stop putting copyright on in-game music
You are ruining it for everyone who wants to stream or make youtube videos on this game. Why is this a thing still? Stop copyrighting gaming music, its a struggle as it is as a content creator.

I feel you but in terms of numbers content creator are like 5 percent at best of the group, you know how market works, they need a bigger slice to note

Turn the in game music off. Problem solved.

Anyway it's the exactly same music then LAD 8, those lazy devs.

Are they copyriting the music they create? that's pretty weird given its free advertising for the game.

More likely they are using copyrighted music which is pretty normal and not something they can turn off (other than not using that music).

What would be nice though is a "streamer mode" in the options which automatically turns off copyrighted music, i feel like thats a pretty basic QoL features games should have these days given a large part of advertising is via streamers.

You act like the Yakuza devs copyrighted the songs themselves. So stupid.

I'm terribly sorry that the developer didn't think to ring you up before releasing this upon the world ...
Games aren't made for content creators. The Yakuza series came out LONG before people started doing that kind of stuff. You adapted to the style, but it doesn't adapt to you. Mute the music on your stream, but keep it playing for you. How do you do this? Audio control (Not ingame.)

Licensed music is not the problem in general, it's people uploading unlicensed covers on youtube that result in the licencor just blanket claiming everything using it.

You can avoid most licensed music in game by either turning off the music entirely, or by avoiding the specific parts of the game that play it (eg Don Quijote in all Yakuza games will get a claim on YT, playing any of the Karaoke games that are using licensed music, the disco in Yakuza 0, and the opening and ending to the game.)

But let's be honest, if you're streaming ANY game you know has licensed music, you should be turning the music off completely due to the nature of licensed music. It would be nice if the developers just jumped on the "Streamer mode" bandwagon, but this would likely lead to intentional censorship of more than just the music to comply with a "T" rating rather than a "M" rating that YT and Twitch can show advertising on. Careful what you ask for.

content creators spread the word of the game and there are many games sold because content creators play them on streams and YT. So yes, it matters.

What music is copyrighted? I've streamed it and created videos and haven't had any copyright notices.

It's up to the content creators to keep their content legal. This is part of the content creators' responsibilities.

If you don't want to do it, find a different hobby.
Get a different job if you can't handle the responsibilities required by said job, like turning off music or making sure you can use the content. Grow up.
Do some basic research and make sure you have the legal rights to stream music in the game before you start? This is how the law has always worked; it's just not been enforced as much in the past.
