infinite and pirate are distinct games....
pirates is set as events after what happened in infinite.

doesn't matter if you hadn't played infinite, everything is needed to know in the story are well explained and recapped when needed. Obviously if you hadn't played infinite (or other yakuza games), you might want to play them as well. But this is another story

More like 1, maybe 2, a year... but RGG are extremely prolific - it helps when you realize that reusing assets isn't necessarily a bad thing, and just do it. But even the "bad" games are above average in quality.

Speaking us reusing assets - who knows where the Ichiban stoyline will go, but not using the Hawaii assets for another game would've been a waste. People have been asking for a Goro Majima centric title for years... now they have it. Maybe not what anyone would've expected, but it's fitting.
