is majima supposed to speak english before and after battles?

i’ve been playing the game with the japanese voices, but whenever i start and finish a battle, it always plays english voice lines which are clearly a different va. is this supposed to happen, or is it a bug? either way it’s really throwing me off, and it sounds super weird

Either Gaiden or IW had the same glitch, I forgot which one it was, but switching language to English and then switching back to Japan seems to fix it.

Alternatively, simply restarting the game will make it stick to your language of choice.

I had the same issue. I was able to fix it by switching the audio language to English and then back to Japanese. Hope this helps. Happy Majima-ing!
