I'm playing and all of a sudden it just closes, no errors, nothing, just back to desktop. Anyone else having this problem?

Same here. Crashes.
I have the same problem with all like a dragon games. I think you have to cap it at 60 FPS that’s what fixes it If I remember correctly if he lowered the resolution to 1440 or 1080 it also works.
It’s been that way with all like a dragon games for me. Every yakuza game works just fine but like a dragon games crash randomly with no error. If I remember correctly, the only thing that worked was Capping the FPS at 60. That makes it work

I played for 7 hours yesterday without problems. Now the game won´t start and keeps crashing to desktop without an error message.
delete file nvngx_dlssg.dll . It worked just fine after that

Ive tried everything i could think of and the only thing that stopped the crashes for me was to limit it to 60fps. Not really a fan of that in an action game.
I had the same problem but when I set my fps from limitless to 120 I could play the game without any issues. I hope it helps
Can confirm that what other people have said about decreasing the frame limit from unlimited to 120 (or less, depending on your GPU) works. It is a shame it has to be limited though.
during bossfights and cutscenes on a 3070

Did this and just got another crash (fourth in ~9 hours). Almost seems to be a memory leak... happens always during a cutscene and always after a couple hours of playing.

I have an AMD card, have NO framegen or FSR active, and I havent crashed once in 12 hours. My PC is mid-end and the game is constant 60 fps so I didn't find FSR or framegen needed.

Maybe theres a problem with that so try to turn off both options if you are using one of them.

Can confirm that it doesn't. I already had it on 120 instead of unlimited, still crashes.

I played The Man Who Erased His Name and Infinite Wealth at well above 60 fps, no crashes. Yall need to stop with this already, the fps has nothing to do with it.

It's definitely a problem with the game itself that cannot be fixed by playing with settings. None of the alleged workarounds actually work. And it's always in cutscenes too. Either a regular cutscene or when a battle interrupts for a QTE cutscene.

The game simply needs to be patched. Anyone who thinks they found a proper workaround simply hasn't had another crash yet.

Was getting consistent crashes in the first Pirates' Coliseum battle and this fixed it for me, but I wasn't getting cutscene crashes. Just random crashes during ship battles.
