Denuvo - Why?
This is a single player game sold on Steam why is there an additional DRM? What sense does this make? I am fortunate enough to have a new gaming PC and I am not going to buy anything that has DRM past Steam itself. What exactly is the purpose of this?

What do you think? To stop piracy. Denuvo was made so people couldn't pirate games like this for free. Of course in return it makes the buyer suffer too.
Stop posting about Denuvo every 5 minutes

Denuvo is really hard to crack

simply, to stop piracy during the key sales window. denuvo is incredibly effective, but also incredibly expensive, so it's common to see developers remove it a year after release once the game has already made money in sales
Sega pay for a license for Denuvo, and by god they're going to use it.
I am literally buying the game through Steam how would it be possible to pirate it through this store front? It is not. There is no reason for Steam to have this DRM for the reason of piracy.

So it doesn't get cracked in the first week like Rebirth.
Or maybe they it so clown farmers have something to cry about. Either that or woke or some other random nonsense.

Steam isn't DRM. All it does is check you have a valid license - something that can be worked around by techniques first employed in the 1970s.

Don’t buy it then, your loss. Who give a ♥♥♥♥ about Denuvo honestly lol. Nearly every game that uses it eventually removes 6 months to a year later so who cares.

Being a single player game on Steam is more of a reason to have DRM not less. :tgrin:
Publishers like to feel warm and cozy for staving off the evil boogeyman of piracy.
Gaiden and infinite wealth hasn't been cracked yet. Yakuza: Like a dragon got released on GoG at some point so that's the only reason there's a DRM free version.
Because SEGA, stop buying their ♥♥♥♥ it'll go away real fast.
