Hi dear
let me know when you are planning to open a beta key to early acces!
my best
I say this as someone that wants to see the game succeed, because I was a huge fan and supporter of the original and its variants.
Kind of been holding onto my impressions for awhile now because, frankly, I'm just another loser on the internet spouting opinions that no one cares about. With that said, probably 1000 hours in Thor's Hammer alone..... and I play a lot of f2p games (like I'm sure you all do)
The current set up for the LATAM beta is very thirsty for money. There is no way to just buy all of the mobiles outright, and you only start with a choice of either Armor, or Mage.
Acquiring new mobiles is a grind..... you can only purchase them with rubies.... one of three currencies in the game... and rubies are, generally speaking, real money currency. It's pretty pricey too. After conversion... 600 Rubies was something like 10 USD... that happens to be the (individual) price for better than half of the mobiles. You can earn them (rubies) through quests and leveling.... very slowly. In a month of play I was able to unlock a single mobile, and that isn't hyperbole.
I'm not saying this to dash anyone's hopes that it will be good.... but rather so that you know what's there (maybe go try it out yourself!) and can voice your opinion on it here (politely please). I'm also mentioning it in the hopes that Rocket Punch takes notice of how people feel about it, and take this time to cater the game to Steam, and to a monetary system that will attract players.
I for one would be happy to see something like Hi-Rez does... let people pay a (reasonable) one time price to have access to all current and future mobiles.... or better yet have all mobiles be free (like they always were) and let monetization come in the form of cosmetics and xp boosts (which works fine for 100's of games on this platform).
This is a pretty crucial time though, and I can guarantee you that if they release on Steam in the same form it exists on the LATAM beta server, it will be DOA.
***Peace***
