Sun God vs Technological Terror.

Anyone like to give me feedback on which is better & why?

Sun God is better if you aren't going to be using its ability; the technological terror actually is better, but not by as much more as it costs. If the tower's not in a convinent place to use the abilty, go with Sun God.

Its often best to use a bit of both. Sme Techs pressed right up against the track, with sungods behind them, that way you can use the ability to maximum effect while not wasteing large amounts of money on buying more techs then you need too.

Aditionally, when makeing techs, you dont need to upgrade them to laser and plasma vision (make them 0/4), the green stuff they shoot only gets one extra popping power per an upgrade, its a nice boost, but not with the 7000 or so you have to fork out to buy the visions.

If you have the money needed for tech terrors I'd advise going right for the temple. It's totally worth it with the sacrifices (costs about 300 000 on medium=about 320 000 on hard=340 000 on impoppable).

sun god is better and has more poping power but Technological Terror's ability is really powerful it can take out all the red M.O.A.Bs and other bloons around him
If you'r trying to save for the Temple of sun god I would suggest getting one or more Technological Terror befor getting the sun god

Experienced BTD5 players have lots of opinions on this subject...here's mine.

Not counting abilities, my experience shows that, generally speaking, SunGod's are more effective with lots of the SMALL BLOONS, while TechTerror tends to do more damage to the big stuff like MOAB-class bloons.

So, IMO, it really is a case of the right kind of screwdriver for the job you need done.

Of course, SunGod has a MAJOR edge when you factor in the Temple upgrade.

In a typical 85 round game where I do not go for a Temple early on, I will generally finish with one each of the following towers:

All under at least a 2/2 Village...

1 SunGod
1 Tech Terror
1 4/2 Ice at the entrance
1 4/2 Glue at the entrance [just 'cause I like the GlueGuy]
1 2/4 Bomb
and maybe 1 4/2 Tornado Wizard

Pretty much the above will win you just about every BTD5 map, with the exception of the toughest Expert and Extreme maps.

Somebody else said it also...best to use both Super Monkey upgrades. IMO, no such thing as a "best" tower in BTD5 games, with the exception of a properly created "max" Temple.

Does upgrading with SunGod by sacrificing other SunGods improve it? IOW, can you infinitely increase its strength by sacrificing previous Sun Gods each time?

There is alot of information out there on how to create the best temple and for the cheapest amount of money but using this a a basic guide will serve you well when making a temple.

No. Absolutely NOT. You're talking about trying to "stack" the SunGod's effects, sacrificing multiple SunGods hoping to end with a stronger Temple.

In BTD5 games, no towers really have any of this kind of "stacking" effect.

So, if you sacrifice more than 1 SunGod in a Temple, all you're doing is throwing your money away.

Don't do it. :)

The same goes for Temples sacrificing other Temples - absolutely zero benefit and you're only screwing yourself in terms of money spent. Noob players do this all the time... :)
