Co-op chat?

Is chat available in co-op?
I know it's in the web version of BTD5, but I can't seem to find it in the Steam version...

There is currently no co-op chat implemented, however the devs have commented on this recently and said it is on their to-do list. There are alot of new things coming to the pc version of BTD5 but first they're focusing on squashing any game-breaking bugs in the current release.

Zombie Waffles is it out yet or was the date released when its coming out?

There's no date or anything to share with you guys, but it is something we'd like to get in the game at some point :)

i curious, you charge 10.99, which i paid yet co-op chat which should be top of the list of needed things to charge that much is a "no set time"? really??? cmon guys, we need it now. it would make that 10.99 worth it :3

Yeah I got the tablet version on a humble bundle, not sure what I paid. I did not expect chat on that, it was a tablet game to pass time while idling on the way to somewhere or on the toilet. But now I bought the PC version and the best we can do is to jerry-rig a chat from Steam? No no, for what you charge a basic text chat is in order quick, very soon, and yesterday. Heck people have been chatting via text on internet for decades now, it's not some myserious abstract theory in coding a program. It's text chat, much simpler to do than what you have already done with the co-op code.

you could say ninja kiwi have lost their touch with the game
they made their money and like 95% of devs, dont care anymore.

it really shows, since the game came out, look at how little has changed.

then look at progression from BTD1->BTD4
in the same timeframe, they made 4 games, as now, they made 2 towers and a half dozen maps

There has never been a co-op chat for the steam version of the game. The only chat that they have ever had has been on the flash version.
