Just got destroyed on wave 76. (tons of ceramics)
Everything was going great and didn't have a single leak... and then, yep, all those ceramics just charged right through like I had nothing at all.

What the hell do you have to have ready to deal with that? O_o

Arctic wind with 2/3 village should be enough on most tracks. Also sun gods, spectre, 4/2 cannon and glaive lord are good mass popping power.

Well, I didn't really have enough money for all of what you're saying. I only had 1 banana farm... how many farms do you usually have @ around wave 60?

Depends on map, but on beginner tracks about five or six 3/0 or one or two 4/2. The beginnig is the key, farm heavily then and if you lose start over, it's not that big of a deal if you just played thirty rounds. If you manage to get good income at the start you don't have to warry at all on the later rounds.

Ah, so really try and get by with the fewest towers possible and the start and farm/upgrade up banana farms. Hmmm, a delicate balance, heh

I think this is a little heavy on the Farms. I just finished my 1st Beginner map at Hard difficulty and I only had 2 farms which were at 3/0, with no lives lost.

I used this link as a base to work from : http://www.kongregate.com/forums/225-bloons-td-5/topics/449531-whats-your-build-order

I think my general strategy was something like:
***edit - order updated after second win on Hard**

Ninja→ (3/1)
Wizard → (2/2)
Farm1 → ) (1/0)
Farm2 → (1/0)
Village → (1/1)
Super Monkey1 → (1/2)
Village → (2/2)
Glue →(2/3)
Farm1 → (2/0)
Farm2 → (2/0)
Wizard → (2/3)
Super Monkey1 → (2/2)
Farm1 → (3/0)
Farm2 → (3/0)
Bomb1 → (2/3) (at front, set to strong as MOAB killer)
Bomb2 → (2/3) (at front, set to strong as MOAB killer)
Super Monkey1 → (3/2) (at end of round 60)
Spam Super Monkeys → (3/2) ( 3 total @round 80, 4th @ round 84)

I will do a few more Hard maps and see if I can confirm the order and upgrades.

I would be really interested if anyone has a better strategy.

I find that using an Ice Tower in conjuction with a Glue Monkey will generally wipe out most waves of Bloons so long as the Glue Monkey is upgraded to at least level 3 (Corrosive Glue).

On some maps i just use 0/0 bucanear then get 2 or 3 2/0 farms then get grape shot and get a ninja pref 3/2 then get ur farms up tilll leads come then get a cannon works fine for me

Oh yeah THAT wave... A 3/2 Ice Tower and a 4/2 Bomb Tower should take care of that. Or just use a Ground Zero... that always works...

Yeah, I always have one 4/2 Ice tower before the round 63. And it stops pretty much everything but MOABs.

This is just after round 60. Used the Bigger Beacons premium. This is Medium, but in Hard You should have 3 to 4 Farms.

Yeah as I said I like to farm a lot and fail in the beginning rather than farm little and get wrecked at round 84, it takes a lot less time and it's fun having tens of thousands money in the end.

That one's easy, try a spectre, or an ice tower in combination with a lot of things. Stun bomb tower would also help. You don't necessarily need banana farms, but they can help on the high difficulties, especially impoppable, etc.

Don't worry dude that round used to stump me all the time as well. Most of the suggestions people made on here will prove to be rather useful in beating that round.Another thing I would suggest doing is getting a 2/3 glue hose and follow it up with a bunch of 4/2 dart monkeys. Works much better then you would think on that round.
VorHelios Nov 23, 2014 @ 7:34am
no matter what you face super robo monkeys 2/4 will take care of everything throw out some villages 4/2 to reduce costs and give a bonus to income
