Tips and Strats for the Banana Farm?
I always struggle with the economy towers and when best to build/upgrade them. Obviously the sooner you can build one the better so it has a longer time to pay for itself and then begin to generate profit but when do you Bloons pros usually try to build one? Do you build multiples?

Also, some of the upgrades are really expensive and that means it'll take that much longer for it to pay for itself and finally start making a profit. I usually just do the two upgrades right and then two left I think - so it makes 7 bunches and they last longer before going bad.

Are Banana Farms even worth it on Easy and Medium?

Yes without them you lose you wont make enough money to get towers to beat the BFB well you can prob beat easy but you should atleast get 2/3 3-2 banana farms on hard

If it is the same as on mobile (haven't played PC version yet but I've spent houndreds of hours on android), banana farms are necessary on hard and impossible. You just won't have enough money. My favourite start is buildng engineer, upgrade to get those mini turrets then buy farm asap (it should be around 10 round). Get ninja monkey to deal with camoo and just upgrade farm. IMO the best option is to go full bananas amount upgrades (right one, I belive). If your farm gives like 7 bunches, you can build another. Three will be enough to beat even hardest tracks on highest difficoulties. Correct me, if I'm wrong.

They're not necessary on Medium and Easy, but it's a good habit to get into.

Hell, even on Hard, many of the maps should be possible without farming, if you're good enough. I know they are on the flash version. They only start to become necessary in the Advanced tracks and up, there. That said, I have never played the mobile version, so for all I know, it might be a little harder there.

Banana farms sure make a lot of stuff easier but they are not necessary for medium and hard. I often go to 85+ without a single farm.

Getting them isnt much of a problem, yeah and having them is a BIG advantage, yes again. NOT having them doesnt cripple me tho. I compensate by a good tower layout with several "checkpoints" which specialize on certain enemy types and the upgrade system pretty much does the trick by itself.

Banana Farms are decent on easy and medium becuase I have beaten several easy and medium maps without using banana farms and it was still no problem so, no you don't really need banana farms, unless you are going to go for late game in freeplay mode.

Just use the dart monkey specialty building, and place your free darter in a semi-smart location, and only use darters for early game, and you should be able to get a farm started up by round 7. Then I would typically build multiple 2/0 farms (like 3 or 4 of them) before eventually selling them off and turning one of them into a 4/2 farm. You really only need one 4/2 farm to handle anything and everything if you aren't playing past round 85, and you should be able to get it up and going before round 46 with semi-smart gameplay.

You can save money on upgrading from a 2/0 farm to a 4/2 farm by placing a monkey village within range of it before purchasing the upgrades and then selling the monkey village when you're done.

They aren't necessary for easy and medium, but are a good habit to get into for hard/impoppable, so I would recommend using them for easy and medium also at least until you're better with them.
