I heard that I need internet to save the game and rank and stuff.
Is this true?

You need to have internet to back up your save on the steam cloud other than that you can play it without internet

Just to clarify, players do need a live connection if they want Steam BTD5 to sync their progress, XP rank, Achievements acquired and time played.

But a funny thing here about time played....

It seems that if you have Steam BTD5 running all the time, even if you are not playing, AND you have constant net connection, your total time played gets totally misreported.

My own profile shows I have played like 4,000 hours of Steam BTD5.

Absolutely not. lol

I just always have the game up even though I am not actively playing.
