Game may have virus problem on 7 November 2024
Anyone else having the following issue when you open the game and cannot play due to the possibility of a virus which I've had since around 8:00 on 7 November? I can't play it anymore and I think the app was automatically deleted. When downloading from Steam, the same result comes up with unwanted software or virus. I have also contact support from Ninja Kiwi as well.

This is the first time I have encountered this virus issue and, as it's an online game, other people are likely to be affected as well.

I have not had any issues pertaining to the game being flagged as a virus. It is likely just your antivirus considering it as a false positive for some reason.

I use McAfee as my anti-virus software and what it has done is put it in the quarantined items.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Hello Mr. Slip,

Thank you very much for giving me that link to the original virus problem thread which contains the instructions. By adding that to the excluded files list on McAfee (which only contains the game file), I am able to play the game again with the progress I've had already there before Thursday begun. Can obviously confirm that the virus does not exist and you've identified the problem correctly. I will let support at Ninja Kiwi know that the problem has been fixed and I can continue winning XP, monkey money etc..
