How do I downgrade version?

I really want to play this game right now, but the only way to make that possible is to downgrade the game back to earlier version back when the game actually worked.

I have been having the same problom, except the ame dosent even have its icon anymore!

I posted a similar issue. For me the game is not launching at all, either from Steam or directly from the program folder. I am not getting any errors and nothing is being logged anywhere. In Steam it says "running" then never launches. The "Running" message goes away and that's it. Based on my original post, I'm apparently not the only one.
