Just do something for us single players out there.. Please don't neglect the core experience of your Single Player mission statement. I would quite possibly cry if you do. However if you deliver on the SP experience and can create a multiplayer that is different, fun and accessible without trying to copy too much of what's already out there, I can dig it.
The idea is to add MP to the Quick Battle mode and then finish the SP game before converting that to MP (coop.) Realistically now is the time to work on MP, before we are too far along and too much needs to be changed to make it happen.
Of course if MP does prove to be a runaway success then we will nurture it further because it's easier to make an amazing SP game off the back of the MP success, rather than continue making the thing with more limited funds risking cutting corners on things like voice acting.
But at the same time I've seen game be single player focussed in development, and then developer do an entire switch. So if there's a solid balance between them both and then Multi takes priority when the Single Player is pretty much as solid as it can be, then there's no complaints here.
