Is this like Metal Fatigue?
I used to love Metal Fatigue and this looks like a redo of the game. Is this anything like that?

It's not a redo of Metal Fatigue - but that question comes up because it shares the giant mechs in common with that game. There are parts, mechs, and it is a strategy game. I think that's kind of where the similarities end.

Servo is a faster RTS where the games last 10 minutes (give or take) or so and you control your three Servos (mechs) and you gather resources, build your base, train Drones, and fight. You get new parts for your Servos (weapons, armor, CPUs), customize them, and jump back into games to do it again. There's a campaign, singplayer skirmish against the AI, CoOp with a buddy, and Multiplayer 1v1. I like it but I'm biased since I work on it.

Lol I hope your biased!!! Haha that would be pretty bad if you didn't like your own game more than a game 15yrs it's predecessor. I'm sure MF has lost most of it's appeal by now. Some things are best left in the past. It was definitely fun in it's day.. It's apparent you don't want to be considered a redo of MF but the comparison you gave me isn't very convincing. MF but faster is what I got out of it. I personaly don't think there's anything wrong with that. MF had a good idea and did what they could with what they had. Time for something better. This look like it.

Also this is just something I'v observed with just my own friends but most had no idea what this game is or was. Most hadn't even heard of it even tho they play games on Steam like fanatics. Definitely think this needs more publicity. Maybe an edgier anime ish or Armored Core ish logo or something to catch their attention. At the moment it's like something Planetary Annihilation would use but darker. The friends I had that did hear of it still didn't know what it was and didn't even bother clicking the ad to find out. Once I told them they were like "OOooooh that sounds cool!".

I don't own the game yet, but it is on my wishlist. I'm just keeping an eye on it till I feel comfortable there's a decent following. Once I do tho I'm sure most of my gamer buddies will follow.

We're keeping a low profile ATM. Once we get a little closer to launch, the PR/marketing will amp up.

The main difference so far is your mechs are preset before the battle and you only have three, you cannot blow parts off of enemy mechs then pilfer them on the fly. If they die they are on respawn timers only. So in the same line, you cannot custom build mechs after the fact to change your strategy or adjust to an enemies.

Nothing like Metal Fatigue. There are mechs, and tiny units that can be used to support them. The similarities end there. Metal Fatigue you research parts and slap them on mechs live during a game, this game you have an inventory and random loot drop system via shopping between matches, you set up a mech before the match starts, then in-match as you get the mechs they respawn indefinitely for free instead of being made like a traditional unit or like mechs in Metal Fatigue. Sadly the devs for Metal Fatigue crapped out too early, heck even when I was still playing their website went down and I was unable to get the latest patches that I knew existed and used before. So now I have a sad pair of discs that barely get used.
