when do you plan on introducing nethershards?

Hey! We have the nethershards in the demo already! It requires a connection with our server and I know we've gotten a lot of feedback how people don't like creating accounts. So we're figuring out the best way to approach that - but they are there already in a limited capacity!

Lots more to come with those. (Also, we haven't put out the announcement yet, but we just updated the build with a lot more content - new item system, hero customization, new beasts to fight, and more!)

Just to ask if you have an account how do you actually get the shards? Is it a certain enemy? is it beating a run? Which i haven't managed to do yet. I presume its that since its the only thing i feel i haven't done.

At the moment, done a number of runs but no shards so if you could clarify i can't seem to find out how to get them.

Great question - you get nethershards from defeating special enemies called Netherspawn. You can encounter them in the Unknown Path (the right hand side with a "?") or, occasionally, on the Fight Path (the left hand side). You'll know that it's going to be a Netherspawn fight on the Fight Path if the path has a dark, mysterious aura.

Are you saying you updated the demo? And you don't need an account to get the new build? I have the demo but I'm going to try to update it right now
