Not working [SOLVED]

For some reason the doesn't work, I start the game and it just gives me 2 windows and the other one crashes immediately after starting. I have verified files / tried in 32 and 64-bit mode / re-downloaded it. Noting seems to work, I have computer that should run with no problem. Any helps? Thanks in advance!

is it a legal copy and what version windows are you using and is it also a legal copy?

PC spec and OS would be a good starting point.

Games and windows 7-64bit are both legal.
AMD Phenom X6 1075T 3.00Gz
8Gt Ram
MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
That should be all that was asked.

Running ok here with Windows 7 64 bit, AMD FX 4100 CPU, GTX 460, and 8 gig ram.
Make sure drivers up to date ? other than that i cant think whats up.

Hi Cnomesta. Your configuration should not be the problem, it looks more a dependency/drivers problem but i have a bunch of questions to ask to you :

1- Could you post the error message ?

2- You can try to reinstall manually each required 5 redistributables (DirectX, VC2010 x86+x64, VC2013 x86+x64). They are located by default there : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Blue Estate\_CommonRedist

3- Could you check and post the log info of BEGame.exe in the Event Viewer of Windows ? (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer)

4- Do you have any "custom" connected hardware ? (like Kinect, Razer Hydra, ...)

5- Could you run another Unreal Engine3 game ?

I got to point 2 and re installed DirectX and its working now (It also takes long ass time to start the game). Thanks!
I love to see that some dev do this kind of things.

Hi FlowerBlossom, this looks like a redistributable problem

1 - Can you double check you manually installed the 5 redists ? (not only DirectX)

2 - Is this log for the 32bits or 64bits version ? Please run directly to get the error message : try both
- "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Blue Estate\Binaries\Win32\BEGame.exe"
- "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Blue Estate\Binaries\Win64\BEGame.exe"

3 - Could you try another Unreal Engine 3 game if you have in your Steam library, just to test ?

I'm 32 bit, so the 64 doesn't load. I rean from the Win32 directory and first received a BEGame.exe - Bad Image, it poped up with C:\Windows\system32 MSVCR100.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. So I reinstalled MSVCR100.dll and all is well. Wow! This game is better than candy!

msvcr100.dll is clearly from Vc redist 2010. Please install it manually (both 32 and 64 bits)

This game takes about 2 minutes to load. It will seem that the startup screen is stuck and not responding, but its not. Just wait about 2 minutes and it will start just fine.
