THE GAME WONT LAUNCH

The game just does not run. I have Windows 10 and I run games heavier than this one ... I just do not open the Outland the rest without problems

Try running it in Adminstrator mode.. right click on the game in steam.. goto properties.. go to local files.. and browse local files.. right click on Outland.exe.. then click properites.. then on Compatibilty tab and put a tick in 'run this program as adminstrator'.. press OK.. then try to run again.. should do the trick.. its a great game by the way.. played this on the XBOX some years ago..

yeah that doesn't sound safe to do. I'm not giving it administrative access.

The code execution can not continue because MSVCR110.dll was not found. This problem can be solved by reinstalling the program (I reinstalled many times already LOL, and get the same issue) Already tried it Tron

don't worry.. its extrememly safe to do.. it sounds like the outland.exe file cannot access the required folder on your computer where the MSVCR110.dll file is located.. giving outland.exe the admin privilage should allow it to run.. had to do it with some of the Steam games myself..

I find it unlikely that the MSVCR110.dll is actually missing.. its part of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio.. it is likely you play other games.. and have this package installed.. it ususally installs during game installation.. If running outland.exe in adminstrator mode doesnt resolve the issue.. then you would need to download the Visual C++ update.. which can be located on Microsofts site.. here..

make sure it starts on your graphic ccard and not your intel

+ its a game make it run in administrator mode wtf can it do to harm you lol

I launch it as administrator and I installed the last VC++ update yet it still doesn't launch

Try googling MSVCR110.dll, there's plenty of sites that give information about the error message your getting. Should be something there that could help.

I've tried everything. including rebooting. I got the game to work once. I reinstalled it a bunch of times. then I waited an hour and came back to see if it was still working. I was back to the drawing board.

I don't know who to blame. Steam or the devs. I have really tried everything and I don't know what other options there are.
