game crashing on startup

ive tried running in adminstrator and compatibility mode for windows 7 ( i am on windows 10) all i see is a flash of the logo and thats it, can anyone help?

You're getting further than me where I see "playing" on steam for a second and then it goes back to the green "play" button.
