They're so easy to kill; their ranged attack does a measly 2 damage! Only annoying part is their large health pool making the whole endevour rather snooze-worthy.

If there any reason to hold onto more than 7 or 14 of each story if you're not writing the song of the zee?
You can use the unsettling sage from wisdom to convert memories of a distant shore to zea stories, on a 1:1 basis, which you can then use to convert to other goods in Whither etc.
MoDs seem far more common than zea stories.
