Eyeless Skull: Keep or Give?

Hey,
I have the eyeless skull and I like the +4 veils and since I have ♥♥♥♥ tons of mirrors -2 isn't a big deal. I also want to give it to the cerator for the captivating treasure and to help him along(roleplay reasons) but what are your guy's thoughts?

You get better mascots (and you can get the Eyeless Skull elsewhere again anyway if you got it by Beginner's Luck), but if you want to keep it, there's another irrigo item that will also satisfy the Curator, a colossal fluke-core.

Once you get kiting down, as Skinny Pete mentions, there's another item you can turn in for Irrigo that drops from a monster.
