No it isn't. The map is randomly generated. And I'm not sure thats even an actaul location in Sunless Sea come to think of it
What an incredibly unhelpful answer. The map in SS isn't totally randomly generated, the map is divided into a 6x6 grid and islands occupy a random location in their grid square. That's why I asked what segment it was in. Thanks for nothing, clever guy.
The two are so close I might even venture a guess that their spawn points are tied to eachother....
Not even sure how you managed to quote that. I edited my answer within 10 seconds. And I dont think the shining isle is even a location
...it isn't... I thought I made that quite obvious.
Ever notice how people on this forum try to stay in the spirit of the game and give answers that are kind of falvorful and cryptic?
Yea. That. The shining isle isn't capitalized because it's an epithet I came up with. Giving every answer to everyone who asks ruins the game. What if he hasn't come across the island yet? That'd basically ruin the reveal.
Really? Wow... strange. I've talked to at least 3 other people who found it in almost the exact same spot I did.
??? I didn't delete anything...
Ah, ok, I get the cyptic answers thing. Might consider that myself.
When I see Hidaway is almost always 2/3rds 3/4 the way down the very right side of the map but on my most recent captain It's up next to Avid horizon. Kind of odd come to think of it, didn't know ports could move around that much
