Does anyone know a way to get the Hunter's Eye for the Venderbight quest OTHER than in the Avid Horizon?

For some reason since buying Zubmariner the last two Captains i've played have never been given the option to trade fragments for the Eye. Is there a new way to get it now? It's frustrating me to no end!

I've gotten it there with Zubmariner.

Think you need to have the necessary fragments available for the option show up at all in the Avid Horizon. I have also gotten it with Zubmariner.

Same, had the option yesterday at Avid Horizon and traded it for one of the Curator of Venderbight's pages (is it Irrigo?)

I think it's Peligin.

You can get the Eye from an encounter with Khanate and Chelonate brawlers in Gaider's Mourn, if you should choose to join neither side of the conflict and hold your own as a proper Londoner. Beware that this is a significant Iron challenge as well as an event requiring a rather uncommon instance of Something Awaiting You at port.

In short, you're almost certainly better off going to the Avid Horizon if you can, but it is not necessary to be a Zubmariner to obtain a Peligin source elsewhere.

I think you need over 30 pages for the option to appear at the Avid Horizon, I noticed that I could no longer pick that option either, but once I got a few officers and got pages over 30 I could pick that option once again.

Pages or mirrors, not 100% sure which, but I'm thinking it's pages.

The only requirement wiki says at Avid Horizon is not having it (of course) and 77 fragments. It actually says 77 fragments not >77 fragments so maybe you need exactly 77.

Previously there was no point to getting it a second time but now it's sellable and you can get it repeatedly. There must have been a lot of Hunters going there. You think they'd learn to quit getting frozen like that.

I imagine it's sort of an eye farm.
