I'm sure it's plenty hungry
Enjoy the insane fuel loss and the lack of SAYs
Don't use the Impeller with low crew either, it'll occasionally eat one even if you're not full powering.
Yes. Get the Avid Suppressor. First get a ship with an Aft slot, though.
There's nothing quite like zipping around the Unterzee spamming F with the Fulgent Impeller.
Note: if you absolutely must use some other ship like that Steam-Yacht, that doesn't have an Aft slot, it's actually fast enough to escape pretty much anything even without full steam.
It just randomly does that, and you generally have a choice of either letting it eat crew or taking a 20 Terror hit.
The engines exploding will eat extra crew though... unless you've got very high Hearts (or just obscene luck to always pass the test with a low base stat) to pull them out alive every time.
That may be the case with me, because I obsessively build Shrines to Stone. Not only is the Hearts boost pretty awesome but you can sell them profitably at Adam's Way.
Ive been tempted to try We are Clay for the extra boost, but I'm a bit concerned about only having 2 crew members.
Just get the Dreadnought. You can cruise around with no fear.
This is actually the problem with high end play of this game is that you no longer have the terror and fear of anything you encounter being able to destroy you if you are unable to escape in time.
I've been tempted to try it.
I've been using the cutter because I went with really high viels, and it's very inexpensive to operate which made it great for mapping out the entire zee in stealth mode after my first 4 or so captains died for various reasons. The ship has sort of grown on me despite its crappy 30 cargo space. It's kinda neat right now because I can kill most enemies without them ever seeing me beyind the ? status as long as I leave the light off. I think i'm going to go after the Eater of Names next.
