How to cheat gold into this game

Hi. I want to play this game again after more than 3 years. I remember that the beggining is extremely boring and slow, so I want to put gold into my char so I can buy the best engine and be able to go around the zee faster. Can someone help me?

You can either edit the save file directly, or use cheat engine ingame.

download cheat engine. scan for your echo number, then spend or gain some echo, scan the number again. repeat until you have 1-3 results then edit those to however much echoes you want.

10k echos would give you a pretty good quick-start for the cutter/corvette + compulsion + avid suppressor, as well some cheap guns, a light and supplies.

If he was going to download Cheat Engine, he could just use the speedhack to make the early game faster, rather than cheat echos for a better engine.

When I first played this game I remebered that the speed hack didnt acelerate everything. I remember that it had some issues with fuel and how it interect with world events. Is it still the case? How can I use this speed hack?

I just dont want to go through the boring, sluggsh and grinddy start that this game offers.

no that's true, speed hacks can cause various types of bugs and issues. i wouldn't recommend them for ongoing use.
