Is there any Hope for a Agents of Mayhem 2 or a new Saints Row Game?

No, there won't be another sequel for AoM. On 2nd May 2019, Deep Silver Volition announced on their dev stream that the IP has been retired.

But a new Saints Row game is currently under development.

Yeah, I bought this game on sale a couple days ago and have 30 hours in it already... very addicting. The game has also been all patched up and fixed and runs very well so I think they should reconsider their decision. If they would have marketed this game correctly and released a working game in the first place they may have had a hit IP on their hands with a possible 2 or 3 sequels.

The problem was the Saints Row fans bombed this games reputation into the ground. It was not Saints Row, so they spit on it and wouldnt let it get off the ground.... Even though it is a good game and high quality.

thats the sad part, i am myself a Saits Row Fan but i knew that its only a Game with the Chars from Saits Row not a new Saits Row and i loved the Game.

SR4 is the closest it gets to this game. I say AoM is very flawed but the most pressing issue is the pacing and balance, if someone ever gets to the challenge to fix it, lemme know cus i was enjoying this game until it became very disjointed, repetitive and bullet spongy.

I'm still seeing some fans in any Volition social media spamming them for more info or details on Saints Row 5. It's honestly annoying.

There won't be a sequel to AOM, no. Not only because they're busy with the next Saints Row, but because this game was a financial and critical failure at launch. It barely sold and almost destroyed Volition as a company.

But the good news is, that Volition had finally confirmed about the new Saints Row game. And apparently will be a series reboot.

The game had a LOT of potential, and if they had just developed it more and stuck with it, it could have been a really memorable IP.

The biggest problem is that SR fans can be very passionate and focused in their love of SR ... and also very divided between those who love the cartoony wackiness of 4 or GooH, vs the those who love the more serious tone of SR2 (or those SRtT fans in the middle).

It's such a shame the fans totally rejected this game.

It's a lot of fun, and it's obvious that a lot of love went into it. It's far from perfect, but I would have LOVED to see a more polished sequel.

I find it ironic that the SR community panned AOM.... And in light of the new SR game, AOM looks like an amazing game in comparison. Maybe some of these people will replay AOM and realize its better than they thought

Hopefully they reinstall and play this game becuase its worth it. And if they didnt throw a hissy fit about this game, it probably would have been better for SR in the long run.

Honestly... Volition once really hyped for this IP until the ungrateful SR fans shat on this game, to the point it destroyed any chances for AOM sequels. The devs had already planned for story DLCs, but because of the SR demands, they cancelled it. There are dev streams that revealed about the cancelled DLCs (they even have the whole new location built!)
