It probably never will. The game wasn't well recieved at launch and The devs usally abandons server rather quickly. Saints row 3 and 4 servers is down too and to get those online achievements you would have to set up a local server. This game is simply not popular enough to do something like that. Besides, daily contracts is much harder to set up, if not impossible without being a dev. The SR 3 and 4 was somewhat easy since you just have to make the game think you are uploading to a server, but here you need functions from it.

In short; if servers are truly dead, there is a very big change it will never be up again.

Somehow I had to play when I had USA IP address. Could not connect to the server when I was playing at one of middle east country while deployed.
