Yup this thread completely ignores that there are far more hetrosexual relationships/crushes. Fortune & Red Card, Gremlin & Hardtack, Hollywood & Daisy....etc. etc...

Main reason I dislike it is because it's literally the only inter-character relationships made obvious in game so far. If you dig around or have the right people in your party at the right time, you can see the one-sided Gremlin/Hardtack and Hollywood/Daisy things going on.

But the Friday/Braddock thing is unavoidable in main story content, and it feels forced because of it. Frankly, Braddock is a less convincing character due to it. It fits Friday's personality, but not Braddock's so much. What's a hard as nails, blue collar, disillusioned patriot type doing with a young, born to the purple, ra-ra patriot?

I do tend to get more hate to the fact that I'm stereo-typical asian (Though being asian is currently the cool thing to be, for some reason. Damn weebs.), than over anything else. However, I've never been shot at, or stabbed.
It might be because when I drop into a 'fighting-stance', people back off because they fear I might start to kung-fu things up. It's funny because I don't know the first thing about martial arts.

Except That's completely easy to miss side conversations. Exactly the type you said for the other relationships. Within the main storyline, Friday's relationship with Braddock sounds more like a crush. Just like Gremlin or Fortune really.

It was only during Braddock's intro mission that it started to sound like more than that.
