Game randomly closes...

Tried to go to settings, closes, press esc anytime during gameplay...closes.

Closes after cutscenes, anyone having this issue?

No error message, no crash message, just closes.

Same here, 1st mission, cutscene, game closes. Now it don't even start.

Same. I've played it a while and I think that they tried patching things and that patch made it to where even on the controller pressing the start button force closes it. Haven't been able to play it either and haven't heard from them with my forever ago question in the forum I posted

Having the same issue, haven't managed to make it beyond the tutorial section due to it

Eeyup, for me as well, and with it crashing no later than the opening movie even the $10 it's at right now it far too high a price to pay.

Anybody have a fix for this, or should I go ahead and refund it now?

Well, seems to just crash like that when the Steam overlay is turned on, unfotunately without it my controller doesn't seem to work, so I play with a keyboard and mouse or not at all...

Same problem for me. When I try to enter the Settings menu it just closes. No error or anything. There is really nothing about this anywhere?

EDIT: Turning off Steam overlay does help with solving the problem.

I wonder, also, if it may have something to do with an X-Box One controller as the game stops crashing when I kill the Steam features in it.

Of course then, without Steam turned on, there's no controller functionality and I have to play with the keyboard and mouse.

I never play games with controllers, I prefer mouse and keyboard. but the problem persists ..

Yeah, seems people are having a lot of issues with this one, and the fix seems to be different for everyone...

Does anyone of you use the MAF Trainer for the game?
I tried it and had the same problems, without it all works fine.

I didn't however I've been able to play by completely disconnecting my controller and external HDD, seems to fix the closing issue.
