Joule the weakest?
Is Joule the weekest character. I have her at level 17 already and she is definitely the weakest in any party (unless her mayhem is ready)

none of the characters are weak if you use them "correctly". You just have to decide if what she does (and the bad guys shes good against) fit your team. I like her cuz she's never in danger of dying :P

If you go to the armory, selecting (just click, don't edit) each agent shows their relative strength.

And yes, she and her turret are the weakest in terms of DPS. She may be tied with Rama. For what it's worth, though, even though one of the weakest, Rama is my primary Agent. Like Stabbity says, it's not just strength but tactics (and gadgets).

Except she's not really that weak. She just plays differently. Get her the legion tech that lets her get mayhem for R&D and max out her bonus R&D upgrade and she'll start doing her mayhem move nearly as often as specials. Its a game changer for her.

I also like the tech that makes her turret hit the same target as her. (Twinsies) Greatly ups her killspeed since she's weakening the target and combining their dps.

And there's no better agent for in combat hacking which makes many missions so much easier. Her tanking turret keeps all the enemies off her and lets her hack without interruption.

Nah, she's actually one of my favorites (as a hacker and a fighter). That turret is pretty powerful and I'm usually never in harm's way unless I screw it up :P.

I disagree. In difficulty 15 you can tell that some of them are just not up to par, and It's really easy to test. Red Card and Scheherazade are the prime example of that. You could make them somewhat viable, but at a cost that's just not worth it when the are many agents that could do what they do but so much better. That's if you care about efficiency of course.

Scheherezade is very viable at difficulty 15. She's my top killer for the big brute-type enemies. All you need is the crit from stealth and stealth on teleport jump perks. Stealth - full combo - special to stagger - run away - teleport - full combo. If the brute isn't dead, it will be in another application of this chain of attacks.

The only enemy that's impervious to this tactic is the brute with the weak point on his back who puts his gun in the ground. He has a close range pushback aura that repels you in melee range.

Her mayhem ability with the duration extender on kill also lets her clean rooms with little danger to her.

My team is Red Card, Hollywood and Joule
i love Joules Mayhem and also like to use her when i need HP if my 2 main are down with HP i usualy use her since it takes longer to take down enemies but i will just hide behind a wall, heal my turret and let the turret do the shooting while im save behind a wall. once i took out a few waves of enemies my main toons are back at full HP and i can switch back

She's too slow for my taste. Too many steps involved to get a subpar result. I find Oni and Rama infinitely superior.

She's definitely more durable than the likes of Rama, Schehezerade, and Hollywood, but she's also definitely not a front line character like Oleg, Hardtack, Red Card. She's a debuffer. Her turret does the damage AND also should be where enemies are paying attention at. She destroys enemy's Shield real quick and lowers their defense, giving more window to her turret AND someone else to deal more damage while the debuff lasts.

That's her quality.

Joule's Special has a ridiculous reload speed, which means that if you take the gadget that makes it invulnerable as well as draws all the attention, Joule herself will almost never be a target as you can just spam Q constantly.

I agree, Joule its just not good in lvls 13-15, the turret gets wrecked so easily and without it she cant do anything. I think she and red card needs a buff for high difficulty levels.

You what now? Rama is among the highest damagers, able to 1 shot pretty much everything other than Tankbusters at max difficulty.
