For those of you having performance issues and are trying to run on Ultra/high I'd recommend the following. (They are in order of performance impact)
1). Turning Sun Shadows to normal. The Nvidia specific settings kill fps
2). Set Planar reflection to Normal down from high.
3). Set Shadow detail to medium
4). If you also experience fps drops in large fights setting effects down to normal helps.
Just with these changes my FPS more than doubled. A temporary workaround until they hopefully patch these issues.
If you are only concerned about getting 60, you maye not have to change them all.
Example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbzwHUWklGw
System Specs i7 6700k 32gb DDR4 GTX 1080 - using latest drivers for Agents of Mayhem Win 10 64 Pro (installed after using DDU)
(Unfortunately for me new drivers actually dropped my fps. The lowest FPS I saw with the new drivers was 35 when testing in the same area as the video vs 47. Overall though my fps is about 5-10 lower.)
For the FPS drops when mousing between weapon skins and the drops that happen when opening chests and leveling up we'll have to wait for a fix.
Hope this helps some of you!
PS4 Pro is still running at quite lower settings than the PC maxed out.
My point was when 4K capable cards are stuggling at 1080p and a PS4 can run the game at 60fps, you know something's not right.
The PS4 is running on the High preset, whereas PC users only have problems with the Ultra one.

4K cards shouldn't struggle at 1080p on a 6 year old looking game even on ultra.
Agents of Mayhem at 4k = 25FPS

The older a game gets, the more likely it is to run better on current hardware. It's not rocket science. What required top of the line components then is middle of the road now. The march of progress, etc. etc. This ♥♥♥♥ happens when you develop for PC.
Not that it matters, you don't even own the game at the time of writing this, so either you're angry about something that doesn't affect you, or you already threw in the towel.
This game does not look like a 6yr old game. There is a lot of really cool tech/art at play here.
no it wouldn't and it wouldn't surprise me if denuvo is the culprit here.. a few months ago the same thing happened to the game "rime" which used denuvo and had framedrops all over the place even on gtx 1080 gpus. then the devs removed denuvo and all those performance problems were gone from what i read on the forum.
deep silver should remove denuvo instantly, then i will consider a purchase.. otherwise they will just hurt themselfs more than anyone else. sure, without denuvo many ppl will pirate the game, thats certain, but many more will also buy it and IF the performance problems are solved, EVEN more ppl will buy it and be happy about the game...
its their call, otherwise i will wait 1-2 months and buy it for 15€ :D
