Things I would Change or Add.

First thing first, I think the game is fairly perfect so far. But, there will obviously be changes, additions, and removals as time goes on. __ 1: I think the house map could use a slight redesign, as it has only one or two spots to train, which the backyard is hard to train in due to the amount of water on the ground which slows you down __ 2: Weapon balancing is a little off with certain guns. The M249 SAW is fairly unreliable post Round 5, unless Packed. The STG is a fairly okay gun to start off with ...

Early Access Review

Heavily recommend, I see a fairly bright future for this game and I hope it goes well for the Devs. I like the inclusion of the One Window Challenge as an official map for the game, as most of those throughout CoD history have been fan made modded maps.
I don't have any real major or minor criticisms with the game, as it is still in Early Access. The only change I'd want to see is the blocked doorway in the house level between the kitchen/dining area and the hall where the broken piece of the second floor comes down. The blocked wooden door with broken windows could make that area a good training bit, and open up the map so you don't get pinned; but I also see the upsides to it being blocked as well.
The game is really fun, and there are missing features from the original CoD games I imagine will be implemented at some point in time. It will be interesting to see how many maps get made, or if any other Wunderwaffe will be added to the game outside just the Raygun and the Light weapon; like the DG-2 which did come from World at War zombies.

Early Access Review

It's a good timewaster. If you're the kinda person that grew on cod zombies you'll probably get a pretty good kick out of it. Hope the updates make it more interesting, game seems a bit stale right now with only three maps and a pretty limited selection of firearms with what feels like a clear meta (you get whatever wall gun is good in the most spacious part of the map, and then you hope for jesus gun).

Having a 40-minute-long game was my "oh my god I get it" moment btw so I can vouch for the game having what is definitely a solid skeleton, which is why I hope the game gets a lot of content, since I think it can become THE multiplayer timewaster game ever. Performance is also pretty good in my limited time with the game; it runs pretty smoothly, and being an European who primarily plays with folks in NA, the fact that netplay is buttery smooth is a great plus for a broad like me.

they should add the super plasma cannon and ultra shovel to this game btw it'd be epic

The short of it...

+A well-crafted horde shooter with a strong gameplay loop.
+Plays like WaW or BO1 Zombies without being a demake or copy.
+Progression with camos, emblems, and backgrounds adds a lot of replayability.
+Weapon arsenal is varied and stays fresh in later waves.
+Endless Mode changes up how maps play by giving you no breaks, forcing you to make new strategies or die.

~Prestige wipes away challenge and camo progress. If you're used to CoD's Prestige system, this might be old news to you, but it might surprise newcomers.
~There are only 3 maps to start with, but they are unique and play differently.

-There is no real enemy variety outside of stronger zombies per wave. Don't expect an equivalent to the dogs or the Pentagon Thief.

Nazi Zombies is an inventive indie shooter whose free price tag makes it an easy recommendation. If you really liked the game and want to "buy" it, purchasing the Supporter Pack would be the closest thing to that. I had fun testing it and playing the Early Access release!
