No Achievements earned

I searched for other topics but couldn't find a solution.

I played the game right when it came out and the achievements weren't working, finished it the same day and now that these are available on my profile it says "0% achievements earned".

Any solution for this without having to play the whole game again?

Same here, finished the game and no achievements unlocked, despite me finding quite a lot of the hidden areas.

Restart Steam. It fixes achievements. It won't retroactively fix ones you should have already earnt though.

Do you not get an achievement for completing the game? I got one in the beginning but not for finishing it.

Same as you. Restarting Steam didn't activate them either. And I played the game multiple times after desconneting-reconneting.

Okay, so it's confirmed that the only way to earn them is to play the game again? :/

I have a similar problem. I finished the game twice, I remember having some issues with steam that evening, like several updates within minutes which had me restarting steam over and over and each restart I started playing again.
The weird thing that happened to me was certain achievements didnt trigger. I have "The Last One" but not "Room for Reflection" "Friends in low places" "Unfathomable" "Clockwork". This is very annoying to say the least.

I'm also missing 3 achievements for orbs that I already busted. They seemed to be fixed now maybe? So I'll go back and try to get them again.

No, achievements are tied only to secrets. You just found a secret near the beginning of the game is all.

As above. You only get achievements for finding secrets.

Pretty much yea. You can just load up specific checkpoints to get the achievements quickly though.

Have you actually earnt those achievements in-game? None of the achievements are story-based, they're all earned by finding secrets.

I shouldnt be able to get the achievement "The Last One". Yes I have taken all secrets that are linked to achievements.

Possible fix:

I uninstalled the game (cause restarting doesnt reset the secrets), now the secrets are reset so I will try to get the last achievements and hope it works.

Try disabling FRAPS if you run that in the background.

FRAPS hasn't been updated in a while and has had some issues for me in other Steam games.
